INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
As a result of its recent internationalization process, the University of Magallanes has established relations with foreign research institutes and universities in the areas of teaching and research. At present, the University has links with approximately 30 universities and institutes in countries including: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, England, Germany, France, Australia, Canada and the U.S.A. Among the primary focuses for international cooperation and academic exchanges are marine sciences, natural resources, and glaciology.
