The Vice Presidency of Administration and Finance (VRAF) is the unit responsible for managing and developing the financial and accounting processes of the Institution. Its main objective is to improve the effectiveness of institutional processes to ensure the academic, administrative, and financial viability of the University.
Specific Functions
- Ensure that the rules prescribed by the University regarding financial matters and business are faithfully observed.
- Maintain accounting that allows for an accurate understanding of the University’s financial situation.
- Manage administrative procedures for the hiring of University personnel, including the control and administration of salaries and wages paid to staff.
- Administer and maintain the campuses, overseeing construction projects approved by the Board that are in progress.
- Supervise health services, physical education, management of student housing, and cafeterias.
- Manage the assistance the University provides to students in their social, cultural, and sports activities and organizations.
- Provide vocational guidance to students for the administration of scholarships.
- Evaluate processes related to the management of human, physical, accounting, and financial resources.
- Analyze updated information on administrative and financial management indicators for timely decision-making.
